According to the current requirements of the Bavarian government, visitors to the BMW Museum as well as customers of BMW Welt must be fully vaccinated, recovered or tested negative. For your visit, please bring proof of an official test station or test center.
Visitors who are neither fully vaccinated nor recovered need:
- either a current negative Antigen Test that is not older than 24 hours,
- or a PCR-test that is not older than 48 hours.
The 3G regulations does not apply to children up to the sixth birthday and pupils who are subject to regular tests during school attendance. During the holidays, the tests can be omitted.

BMW Welt is the company’s experience and automobile customer delivery centre. It features fascinating, futuristic architecture and hosts a wide range of exhibitions for all the BMW Group brands.
The BMW Group Plant Munich is the BMW Group’s parent plant. It is situated in the north of Munich, immediately adjacent to the company’s headquarters, the BMW Museum and BMW Welt. Take our popular guided tour and discover one of Europe’s most state-of-the-art production plants.
The BMW Museum offers a fascinating presentation of the company, brand and BMW product history. About 125 of the brand’s most valuable and attractive automobiles, motorcycles and engines are displayed in this building, spanning an area of 5,000 m².
BMW Group Classic is responsible for all activities within the BMW Group concerning the history of the company and its four brands: BMW, BMW Motorrad, MINI and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. It is located near to the BMW Group headquarters and is therefore also close to BMW Welt, the BMW Museum and the BMW Group Plant.
