Do cars always have to have four wheels? Why don't we all sit behind each other in the car? Is there such a thing as the perfect car colour? In the design workshops at the BMW Junior Museum, children playfully explore the shapes and colours of cars and become car designers themselves. The journey into the world of industrial design gets the imagination going leading them in a fun way right into the middle of the thrilling process of brainstorm and design.

I see something you don't.
Be it the engine, headlights or steering - cars are full of intriguing secrets. This workshop takes you on an exciting journey of discovery through the BMW Museum and sends you on a tricky search for shapes and colours. With entertaining stories and clever tasks about cars, perception, memory and motor skills are being finesssed. Then it gets creative - in an exercise book, the children solve tasks together and repeat what they have learned while having fun. Finally, they use colourful materials and stamps to create a model of the little BMW Isetta.

Do you find the cars in science fiction films cool? Then help design the vehicles of the future! First, we'll go to the BMW Museum for inspiration. With ideas collected there, the fledging designers can then develop their own design just like the professionals. They can use special tools, stencils, & airbrush equipment. Finally, they name their model and present it to the group.
