Hello everyone, we're sitting here and being A very special holiday program awaits up-and-coming designers between the ages of 9 and 14 at the BMW Museum. In this design workshop, young participants can develop their creative potential and develop their own car design just like the professionals.
At the beginning of the workshop, participants will be given a guided tour of the BMW Museum to be inspired by the models on display. Then it's time to get down to business: The young up-and-coming designers can implement their own ideas and present their own model at the end of the workshop. In this way, participants not only experience a unique holiday experience, but also take their own creative masterpiece home.

PENTECOAST HOLIDAYS
DAY CAMP
As part of the holiday program "Abenteuer Zukunft" children experiment, research, and discover the future at the BMW Welt. Through a variety of crafting activities and experiments, they learn about exciting new materials and technologies, such as robotics, 3D printing, and virtual reality. Analog and digital motion games are also on the agenda.
3D printing workshop with Tinkertoys & VR experience
In the 3D printing workshop, children can create products using a 3D printer. The workshop participants become robot experts and are allowed to draw robots with computer assistance in the individual teams and print individual product parts with a 3D printer. In this process, CR glasses are also used to visualize the products virtually. The workshop participants present their constructed robot models and test their function together.
Programming workshop
Here, programming is taught in a very special way and without major hurdles on two dates: the participants dance and paint codes before they gain their first programming knowledge with real little robots: the Ozbots.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS AT THE BMW WELT
HOLIDAY CAMP "ABENTEUER ZUKUNFT"
The summer holidays are all about experimenting, exploring and discovering. At “The Campus” in BMW Welt, children aged 6 to 8 and 9 to 12 can experience their holidays in a completely new way. They become inventors who immerse themselves in the world of supermaterials and future technologies. They learn which languages robots speak, how computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D printing work, test virtual reality and upcycle on innovative recycling machines.

As a comprehensive project, the children design their own future vehicle using all the materials and technologies they have learned. The results will be presented to parents at the end of the camp and can be taken home. The program includes lots of group and exercise games to loosen things up, as well as making bracelets out of ice cream sticks or flower pots out of plastic bottles.

What does the Junior Program at Campus offer?
In our Future Lab, an area open to the public, interact and experience the future for yourself at numerous stations. You and your children can drop by the Future Lab at the BMW Welt Campus. Try out the interactive stations without making an appointment. In the two workshops of the Campus at BMW Welt, we offer a variety of workshop and vacation programs.
What is the Junior Program at the BMW Museum?
Children, young people and families interactively explore future mobility at the BMW Museum in Munich while simultaneously taking a look at more than 100 years of automotive history. Our varied workshop, family and vacation programs at the BMW Museum and in the Creative Space at the museum are well-balanced, educationally valuable and above all: truly thrilling!
How old must the children be?
Since this is an educational program involving the transfer of knowledge, our workshops start from 5 years old. Please note that a birthday event is possible only from 7 years.

The campus is open Monday to Sunday for you and your children.
Monday to Friday from 9:00 -18:00.
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 -18:00.The BMW Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday for you and your children from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Monday the BMW Museum is closed.
Can I bring food and drinks to the birthday event?
You are welcome to book our catering offer. Naturally, you can also bring your own drinks and food to the birthday party.
Must I be present at the workshop as a caregiver/parent?
At least one parent/guardian or caregiver must be present at our workshops. A maximum of three caregivers can be present.
In which language are the workshops offered?
Workshops can be held in German or English.
How far in advance do I need to book a workshop?
We recommend booking at least 8 weeks in advance so that we can facilitate your preferred date and to prepare for the workshop as well as manage it as best we can. For spontaneous requests, please contact us directly. Spontaneous participation without pre-registration is possible e.g. at our open programming workshop on Thursday afternoons.
