It’s a very special day for you.
Just as it is for us.
Your new BMW is, of course, the most important part of your visit to Munich. We’re quite specifically using the word “visit” here because we want this today to become a true experience for you. In short, we want you to feel comfortable with us and share our joy of driving off the road, too. And that’s exactly what BMW Welt is designed for.
Is there anything better than finding out where your new BMW came from? This day will be your best opportunity to do exactly that. A walk through the BMW Museum, for example, makes it clear just how much vehicle construction and the course of history are interlinked. Vehicle history, technology, motorsports success, design and amenity options – these all speak for themselves here.
Brand new and spotless.
Your new BMW will arrive at BMW Welt the day before your scheduled handover. Despite the large number of vehicles, this is still a special moment for every employee. Around ten specialists will continue to look after your new BMW in perfectly coordinated processes up until the final handover. After the vehicle’s protective film used during transportation has been carefully removed, the first stop is the car wash. Once the vehicle is dry, the windows, interior, and rims are cleaned. The polish, which is then added, will make your new BMW shine like you would expect it to.
This extensive care programme not only maintains the flawless appearance, but also makes easier the subsequent visual inspections. The trained eyes of our employees miss nothing here. Even the smallest abnormalities would now be discovered immediately.
Awaken your spirits.
Until now, your BMW has been in transport mode. All systems except the engine functions have been disabled and the struts have been blocked for safety during transport. An employee will now activate all functions and then carry out the final technical inspection. Afterwards, your vehicle will arrive in storage until it is collected by you. This is a special warehouse where the oxygen content is kept extremely low for fire safety reasons. Your new BMW is now waiting for its — and your — big moment.
