Automobile plant Leipzig

The BMW Group plant in Leipzig is one of the most innovative automotive factories worldwide. The central building designed by Zaha Hadid, one of the most famous architects of the modern era, is unique. Around 1,000 vehicles roll off the assembly line every day. The Leipzig plant is setting standards on the path to ever greater sustainability. For example, four wind turbines on the factory premises supply production with green electricity.
