The futuristic Double Cone is the architectural and communicational origin of the building. Its exposed situation and its special design offer an adequate framework for special exhibitions on various BMW themes.

A turning platform moves the highlight of every exhibition and event into the right position. The basement with its lounge atmosphere offers you the possibility to enjoy and deepen the various exhibition themes. Interactive tables give you the chance to find out more about product and brand themes in peace and quiet.

What is more, the Double Cone is also the perfect location for exhibitions and events on topics from the fields of economics, politics, technology, society, arts and culture. Both floors together can accommodate up to 450 people. From the self-supporting spiral stairs you have the best view of the events and can gain a fascinating impression of the room. The spiral stairs are equipped with 60 monitors which turns the Double Cone into a media dome consisting of light and sound. On the upper end of the spiral stairs, the visitor leaves the Double Cone and steps onto the Gallery. This bridge connects the museum and the plant with the BMW Welt at a height of seven and a half metres.
