If you wish to come to your automobile takeover in your own car, you can leave it with us at the south entrance and we will park it for you free of charge. But maybe you would like to hand over your rental car or are brought to the BMW Welt by shuttle service, by chauffeur or by taxi? Which ever way: We are looking forward to your visit and will be awaiting you at the information desk. Here you can give up your luggage which we will store until you have taken over your new BMW.

Subsequently, we will welcome you at the Premium Lounge which is exclusively reserved for you and your party. Here, we will collect your pick-up bag with all your documents and prepare them for the automobile takeover. In the meantime you can book the program for the day and discover the facetts of the BMW Welt in peace and quiet.

The Premium Lounge is the starting point for all activities connected with the collection of your new automobile. Here, you have the chance to enjoy the impressive view of the BMW tower and the BMW Museum and get into the mood for the upcoming experiences. Our generous bar offers various snacks and drinks for every time of day. The inviting leather couches offer you a place to relax. You can also connect your laptop or use one of the internet work stations. Pre-school children can play in the specially designed Children’s Lounge. You can discuss questions concerning your day planning, your stay in Munich or further travel plans with our trained staff.

Before the highlight of your visit to the BMW Welt, the automobile takeover, we offer you the possibility to receive a thorough briefing in our specially conceived Product Info Center. It is specifically developed for your engine type and range of equipment. In this way you can get acquainted with your new BMW and its features before you really get into the car for the first time. What is so special about it: In this form it is unique and can only be experienced at the BMW Welt.

The topics of the briefing include design, safety, service, performance, driving dynamics and ease of operation. The first stage of the Product Info Center is the so-called Info Table. On touch screens you will see a 3 dimensional rendering of your BMW. Your personal assistant will then brief you on the special features of your new BMW. Subsequently you will continue to the Info Module. With the aid of a steering wheel, two pedals and an iDrive controller you will have the chance to get familiar with important features and equipment, such as adaptive cornering lamps, iDrive, Night Vision and many more during a multi-media “test drive“.

There is a further exhibit at the Product Info Center which demonstrates the sensory experience in the car. With the help of examples you will find out what your new BMW feels and sounds like.

Now is the time. You will receive your new BMW. Your customer assistant will pick you up at the Premium Lounge and will lead you down the Gallery stairs to the Premiere. We will set your new BMW on one of 30 individual presentation platforms – so that you will remember this moment for a long time. We will capture this moment in a photograph.

Your customer assistant will present your new BMW to you. Together you will make all your individual adjustments. He will brief you on all the details of the control elements and the special equipment. In this way you will be properly prepared for your first trip.

Whether this trip is back home or on holiday – for us there will only remain one more thing to say: Say hello to the road for us.
