    Place of Remembrance

Make your own picture of our history. The Place of Remembrance exhibition traces the path from the rise of the Bayerische Motorenwerke through state armaments contracts in the 1930s to the exploitation of concentration camp prisoners from the company's own concentration camp satellite camps during the war. The exhibition is part of BMW's efforts to come to terms with the company's crimes after a long period of repression – because we stand for a culture of tolerance and openness to the world without discrimination against those who think differently.
