The main attraction in the Campus Portal is the big glass rolling ball track. Children and young people aged between 7 and 13 use their skill to get the ball home – navigating winding bends, loop-the-loops and straights. There are four stations at which the youngsters can influence the direction taken by the ball.
Those who like to explore in depth will find a real dream car in this room. Flexible monitors that can be moved across the entire vehicle reveal just how many fascinating topics there are to discover in relation to the idea of mobility. What does a sandy beach have to do with a windscreen? Is there a connection between the jungle and a car tyre? Some initial answers to these and other exciting questions are provided here.
