Visions.

The visions of the BMW Group are presented on the base of the bowl in the form of the hydrogen-powered H2R record vehicle.

Since the resources of fossil fuels, such as oil, natural gas and coal are limited, BMW is carrying our research into alternative forms of engine and energy sources. The focus is on hydrogen as a fuel.

Careful and sustainable use of resources, and avoidance of polluting emissions are the declared corporate goal of the BMW Group. Since the 1970s, the company has been researching into ecological drive technologies and BMW is currently working on reducing the emissions and fuel consumption of vehicles, while at the same time increasing dynamic power.
