Design Night - The Line of Beauty.
On February 11th 2012, the BMW Museum invites visitors to a grand Design Night. As part of the Munich Creative Business Week, designers and pioneers of the field will illuminate the world of design from a range of perspectives. On this evening, attention will be directed towards the theme of shaping. There will be a presentation of some 100 objects which won gold at the 2012 iF Design Awards.
In 2012 the topic of "light" will be the central focus of exhibitions and events at the BMW Museum. You can look forward to a fascinating, diverse program throughout the entire year. The Design Night is the introductory event to this topic.
In addition to these highlights, experience a trip through time covering over 75 years of automobile design with the BMW Museum temporary exhibition "The Line of Beauty – the great BMW coupés and convertibles." In addition to the unique exhibits, hand drawings are also featured as an indispensable element of the design process.
