BMW MOTORSPORT DAYS 2017.
With just a few days to go before the start of the new DTM season, BMW Welt will be hosting some great motorsport activities on the weekend of 29th April – 1st May. With contributions from BMW Motorsport and BMW M, this will be a fascinating, enjoyable and action-packed occasion for motor racing fans of all ages.
Find out how motorsport has developed from its earliest days to the present between big screens, curbs and trophies. Alongside historic BMW bolides and BMW safety cars from all major racing series, the brand-new DTM models will also go on display. Various BMW M models (including M Performance Parts) will show just how effectively the ‘genetic’ element carries over from motorsport to the open road.
But BMW Motorsporttage is not just for looking – our visitors are also invited to join in the fun. Go for an exciting ‘taxi ride’ in a BMW M2 on the open area in front of the BMW Welt (bookings taken in the foyer). Set your pulse racing on a circuit meticulously reproduced in the BMW M4 DTM simulator, don a virtual reality headset and experience the thrill of motor racing in cyberspace, or cheer on the younger members of your family as they compete with remote-controlled BMW model cars.
The reigning DTM champion, BMW driver Marco Wittmann, has already made a note in his diary for 30th April, when he will be signing autographs for fans.
